Liberty Country Club News and Views vol.1

In this edition of Liberty Country Club News and Views we will discuss how to get some golf in for the time challenged, some basic bunker shot advice, golf's impact on charitable giving and how you can help your favorite cause, and finally a video of a great trick shot.

In our recent survey we asked what was the main reason you didn't play more golf. Time or lack thereof was  by far the main reason stated. Here at the Liberty Country Club we hear you and we will be working on programs that may help you get some golf in while balancing your time in your everyday life. In the mean time click on the following link for some thoughts on playing 9 hole rounds. We are not a golfnow affiliated facility but watch for our own upcoming specials at LCC for the time challenged.

 No time to Play?

We are planning to include at least one golf tip in each issue. The link below is geared toward female golfers but is applicable to everyone who struggles with bunker play.

Do you have a favorite charity or cause you would like to promote or raise funds for? If so why not golf? As you are aware, we have several outings each summer that are fund raisers for various scholarships and other worthwhile causes. One should not be afraid to use golf as a fund raising vehicle. What better way to get folks together, have some fun and raise a few dollars for a good cause. We are always willing to help anyone put a golf outing together. We can offer advice when desired or just schedule the time and facilitate the event. The link below is for an article discussing golf's impact on fund raising efforts.

And finally, you may have seen the video showing 9 golfers making 9 putts at the same time to one hole. If not you should check it out below.
